Building Development Strategy

• Setting a platform for open project communication and collaboration
• Discussing procurement models
• Inspire  building concepts and ideals with client, designers, and consultants
• Work with contractors if required at the early phases of design
• Developing project milestones with project team
• Look for  opportunities to improve or drive the   design and construction schedule
• ​Developing overall project concept for materials,  basic details,  and constructability
• Engage in early budget pricing
• Preliminary Discussions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction where and when required
• Activating a project team in drawing software protocol ​​​

Construction Documentation

• ​Working with designers and consultants to execute the overall building design intent   throughout the project
• Extensive consultant coordination to limit site issues
• Review   zoning and code issues early in the concept design phase to limit revisions during   AHJ review phase(s)
• Using 3D software (BIM) for drawings   to help communicate with stakeholders and  consultants project objectives
• Exploring innovative engineering design ideas and energy modeling
• Investigating alternate building materials and detailing BEFORE construction documentation is completed ​​

Project Delivery (Project Management)

• Establish a communication protocol for  the construction  phase of the project ​(provide a collaborative environment for the  construction  phase of the project)
• Review tenders with client if required and review potential alternatives
• Review of submittals and the construction schedule with client, consultants,   and contractor
• Attend site meetings with consultants and trades​​
• Review progress claims and   change notices for the Architect or Design consultant
• Work with  the project team on close-out procedures
